Fall

Friday night we had a family dinner for Mike's birthday. We ate, the kids ran around and played, the adults sat and chatted. It was a great time, and we're enjoying the space of our new home.

Today was a fantastic, active Sunday. We did the Terry Fox run this morning with Mom. It's the first time the kids have walked the whole thing (rather than riding in strollers or wagons). They did a great job. They ran the first kilometer or so, and exhausted themselves earlier, but they kept on going and were able to finish. Then Ben had his second hockey practice/assessment. He's still slow and unsteady on the ice, but he really gave it his all, and was really a lot better than I had thought. And then this evening we took the kids to play tennis with Mike's mom. They've never played before, and Ben really wanted to try it out. This fall weather is great! Back to school tomorrow.
